Like the eagle that plunges into the heart of storm to soar higher; so was our goal framed – to dive into the midst of the educational world, strive for excellence & emerge victorious.

Guru Har Rai Academy, Kanpur, one of the premier institutions of the city, was founded by Sardar Beant Singh in the year 1993, 10th March, to impart education in the society. He had a delicate and difficult task to put the school on a sound footing and he performed it admirably. The seeding being done, the sprouting was left in the hands of
Sardar Manmohan Singh, Mr. Jasbir Singh and Mr. Manish Agarwal who laid it forward Towards Excellence.

Guru Har Rai Academy thinks of education as an exciting journey into intellectual and emotional learning. It is an independent co-educational, progressive school. As a path breaking concept, we recognize the fact that education is about each individual child and not about the system. We understand that education is the development of the whole person, the mind, the body and the spirit. It achieves this by finding the teachers who love children, love teaching and are capable of inspirational leadership. Thus we have created a unique model of education- a place where children are happy on campus, and fulfilled once they leave.

The aim of the school is to prepare students academically, physically, psychologically and morally in the secular environment while entering any walk of life. This is achieved by seeking to develop character, promoting esprit-de-corps and dedication to a purpose by including a patriotic outlook and desire to serve the country in any capacity with efficiency, industry and zeal. The overall emphasis is focused on achievement of a holistic development of the child into a young individual possessing a the values which will make him or her a better human being or a constructive citizen of the country.
